Located beside a pond in Serenbe, Georgia, this walkout-basement renovation transformed an unfinished concrete shell into a light-filled residential apartment. Annie Jenkins Smith collaborated with Well + Made Interiors to develop the interior build-out, architectural details, and finishes, with construction by Martin Dodson Homes.
Inspired by the client’s time in Jamaica, the home provides a bright, restrained backdrop for her deeply personal collection of furniture and art. Custom elements include a light fixture made from ostrich eggs, centuries-old Pakistani doors, and murals by Serenbe artist Morgan Boszilkov.
